GEORGE H. SORIANO, JR.
George Soriano is the founder and principal of Soriano Law (George Soriano, P.C.), established in 2015. He brings solid business and legal acumen, borne of over 25 years of experience, in the United States and over 30 countries around the world.

George is an "Army brat." His grandfather emigrated to Panama from New York in 1930 to work on the Panama Canal. George was born and raised in the Panama Canal Zone, and is a third-generation "Zonian." Today, he is a proud Texan, having lived in the state for over 35 years, started a family and raised six children in the Dallas area.
George earned a Juris Doctor at the Saint Louis University School of Law in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he focused his studies on litigation and business transactional law. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin, along with a commission in the US Army through the Army ROTC Scholarship Program.
Commissioned as a logistics officer, George served in the Regular Army and Army Reserve for 25 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel, having served tours as a battalion commander and as a staff officer at the Pentagon. Along with his initial logistics specialty, George also earned specialties in contracting and industrial management. He is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and the US Army Logistics College at Fort Lee, Virginia. George is a member of the US Army Acquisition Corps and a warranted contracting officer. Upon retirement, he was inducted into the Distinguished Order of Saint Martin, the patron saint of the Quartermaster Corps.
George began his legal career as a business litigation attorney with Byrne, Downing, & Ratliff, P.C. in Dallas, Texas. After leaving the firm, George moved to Romania, where he was Country Manager for Redeco Petroleum, an independent Canadian oil company. In this role he negotiated the largest independent oil concession in the history of post-communist Romania, 1.4 million acres, extending from southeastern Romania into the Black Sea.

After four years, he returned home and continued working internationally for Bell Helicopter Textron, spearheading contracts negotiations and execution throughout Latin America, for Bell's commercial helicopter division. He then joined Goodman Networks, Inc. as Corporate Counsel, playing a significant role in Goodman's growth as a service provider for the expansion of AT&T's cellular network. He then joined Aggreko International Projects as Regional Counsel and Commercial Manager, overseeing international and military power projects in Central America, the Caribbean and the Middle East Theater of Operations.
George assumed his first General Counsel role when he joined Isolux Corsan USA, LLC, the American subsidiary of Isolux Corsan of Madrid, Spain. In this role he was in charge of all legal, litigation, procurement, and governance aspects of the company, whose main project was the construction of the 350-mile Wind Energy Transmission of Texas transmission line, designed to deliver electrical energy from windmills in West Texas. This was followed by his second role as General Counsel, for the Penhall Company, the largest concrete cutting and soft demolition company in the United States. In this role, he oversaw the legal, contracts, real estate, and risk management functions for the company, in the US and Canada.
